Risk assessment associated with economic contracting in Cuban business activity

Abstract

Economic contracting and its management require strategic, legal, and economic actions to fulfill duties and obligations, thereby ensuring the satisfaction of the parties involved. This study aims to determine the necessary steps for risk assessment in contractual activity. The research applies a mixed-methods approach, including theoretical and empirical techniques such as analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical analysis, interviews, surveys, brainstorming, the expert method, Kendall's coefficient, and mathematical methods. The main outcome is a procedure grounded in both theoretical and practical study of risk assessment. Risk management thus serves as a dynamic decision-making mechanism that accounts for uncertainty and the possibility of future events.
