Keywords:
assessment, municipality, developmentAbstract
The work presented is part of the efforts made to match the transformations of the new Cuban economic model as the highest expression of the country's development. Some tools are used to evaluate the economic-financial system for the mini industry "Doña Pepa", as a Local Development Project of the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Municipality intended to produce natural fruit juices and vinegar using sustainable methods. Reference is made at first to the conceptualization of the topic addressed, in addition a characterization and diagnosis of the project is carried out to arrive at the elaboration and evaluation of the economic-financial evaluation proposal of the project. It is demonstrated in the economic-financial evaluation that the project adds value to the initial investment, is recovered in the desired time and the internal rate of return is higher than the assumed capital cost. The role played by the new economic actors in the territories is demonstrated, which is why with their results they contribute to territorial growth and development.
