Integrated strategic management procedure for the hotel sector

Tourism today is facing one of its greatest challenges with the pandemic (Covid-19), many companies have decided to move forward and reinvent themselves to achieve a favorable position in today's market. The application and study of Strategic Management for any entity is a fundamental aspect, especially in the tourism industry, because through various analyses, it helps to create sustainable improvements and prolong its efficiency. Cuban tourism has always developed different strategies to improve its services, however, many institutions within the sector demonstrate the insufficiency of their actions to improve at the organizational level. As an objective of the research: The proposal of an Integrated Strategy Management procedure for hotel facilities that contributes to decision making to achieve goals and better results. The main methods and tools used were: dialectical materialistic, historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, bibliographic analysis, bibliographic review and synthesis matrix. The results obtained are the elaboration and description of a methodological procedure of Integrated Strategic Management for the tourism sector consisting of a total of 4 phases and 20 steps, which through an analysis of previous models proposes a flexible and easy to implement procedure for businessmen.

The Author of articles published in the Cuban Magazine of Finance and Prices (RCFP) may exercise the following rights:

- Publish the Article on the Internet or authorize the Author's institution (or any other appropriate organization) to do the same, immediately from the date of publication of the Article in the journal: within the institution's closed network (p. eg, the intranet); or in publicly accessible institutional repositories or centrally organized repositories, provided that a link to the Article is included on the journal's website.
